What difference can I make with the ASRC?

By organising a fundraiser, you can make an immediate impact through the ASRC to ensure people seeking safety can rebuild their lives where it’s safe. The ASRC was founded on the simple principle that all people seeking asylum in Australia should have their human rights upheld and the opportunity to be a part of the cultural fabric of our community.

From the first day we opened our doors more than 18 years ago; we believed that every person who sought safety deserves a place to call home and the chance to rebuild their life.

We are so honoured to work with more than 6,000 people each year in their journey to freedom and as the largest independent human rights organisation for people seeking asylum in Australia; we offer programs that provide protection, aid, empowerment and dignity.

Monies raised from fundraising activities support where help is most urgently needed - this could be anything from our foodbank, housing, casework, legal or health programs.
